Corporate identity, packaging and communication redesign

Calvados Père Magloire was one of the first French trademarks to be filed back in 1925. Personified by a generous and charismatic Norman innkeeper, the brand needed a new lease of life. Médiane created the new logotype, taking in account the traditional aspect of Calvados while masterising the notions of high end spirits. With this in mind, Calvados Père Magloire sought to assert its high end market positioning strategy.
Its logo and notion of quality have increased visibility on the three designs: Fine V.S., V.S.O.P. and X.O., whilst retaining the brand’s warm, original design. The labels, box and all communication mediums were designed in line with this vision: Calvados Père Magloire enters the international elite circle of premium spirits. Père Magloire asked Médiane to work on its corporate identity and image.
